The Mask

It was time for Mike to go to his appointment with the Radiologist for his scans and to have his mask made. Now, I did not go to the initial visit because he was getting scans, and the mask made. That was all he was having done, he could do that without me. He was literally all set up with the appointment, he just had to show up, they were not going to schedule radiation at this appointment so again, no reason for me to go. When you have radiation as I have said before it is everyday, they like you to go at the same time everyday if possible. I told Mike to call me when he was done and let me know how the appointment went. They had scheduled him for a 2 hour appointment, it takes a while for scans and the mask process. It had been several hours and I had not heard from him, I had tried calling but there was no answer. I honestly thought no big deal, they were running behind, it was taken longer than expected, I was not worried or freaking out, I mean he was not having anything major done. I was working, just doing my thing and I looked at the clock and thought again, wow this is actually taking a really long time, about that time, my phone rings and it is Mike, oh great he was finally done. I literally did not even get hello out and all I heard was I am not having the treatment. I was shocked, stunned and wondered what the hell he was even talking about!
