And.. We Wait!

Hey friends, it has been a minute! Hope you are all doing well, we have been super busy with baseball and all other activities involving our teenager! He has a busy social life and has places to be (so we are told!) 

I left off with the ENT not wanting to do the surgery as after speaking with his colleagues, the tumor was to deep. He basically told us that Mike would lose the majority of his tongue if he tried to do the biopsy the way he had planned to. While I appreciated him not just slicing on Mike, I was pissed. This was crazy, to be ready for surgery (the biopsy) then be told, oh never mind I cannot do it, I am not comfortable cutting on you. So, he was going to find a doctor that could do the biopsy and get what was needed, they needed a sample in order to figure out what this was. I mean we knew it was cancer but they needed to figure out what kind in order to start a treatment plan. Here we are, waiting..
