WTH??
I had mentioned previously that while we were at the beach we had to get some medicine called in as Mike ran out. What I failed to mention was that when Mike ask him about the results being in, it was not a definite “no” it was a they were back, he wanted to discuss them in the office as “something” was there. We get back in town and Mike goes to the appointment, honestly at this point all the doctor said was “something” was there, it appeared to be a tumor but he did not have a lot of other information. He wanted to get a biopsy to see what we were dealing with. Now, knowing what we had already been through with my cancer, the word tumor takes your mind to that place, and it is not a pleasant place to be. Mike was actually handling the news pretty good, me on the other hand I went into complete denial. I was convinced or rather I convinced myself the doctor was wrong, he did not know what he was talking about, this was not a tumor and it most definitely was not cancer. He wanted to get a biopsy done to see what we were dealing with. Mike was ready to get the appointment like yesterday, this was all gut wrenching and makes you a nervous wreck. We were able to get an appointment for the following week to get this biopsy taken care of. It was time to figure out what this was and what the heck we needed to do about it!Â
