DONE

Radiation was DONE! Goodness from where we started I honestly was not sure if we would ever up DONE, but here we are! The last day that Mike would have have to come here for a treatment, it was such a good feeling to know that he had done it. He had pushed through this, he had gotten to the end. What a great day this was for all of us. He took his last treatment like a champ. The nurses were thrilled that he had made it, I mean lets face it, we all worried that he would not take the treatment after the initial mask issues we had.

He took his last treatment, got all the hugs from the nurses and we got the hell out of there! He was done, I could catch my breath, he could heal and we could all move forward from this treatment, this was such a good day and we had not had one of these in a hot minute. We were due a good day, by no means was Mike up for a party but mentally he knew that he was done, he did not have to have another radiation treatment, he could relax and heal.
