Boring!

I know it has been a minute, I had left off with Mike being in the hospital, he was able to shower, eat honey buns and was attempting to drink milkshakes. The hospital stay was super boring, I mean you can only do so much. Mike was watching a little television, he was walking around, and sleeping. While he was asleep I would make calls to catch everyone up, watch television or walk to the gift shop. The fluids were really helping Mike, he was more alert that he had been in a while, he actually wanted to get up and walk. This made my heart happy because he had been so weak and frail during all of this. Doctors would come in and out but for the most part, everyone let him rest and left him alone, that was at the direction of his Oncologist, he just wanted Mike getting the fluids, getting the IV pain relief and resting.

Days and nights in the hospital are long! I would not have wanted to be anywhere else but with him, however I was ready to be home and in my own space, Mike was ready for that also. We again, walked downstairs and Mike had yet another honey bun. He had attempted more milkshake but it was still just to hard for him to get it down. We planned to just chill this evening and watch online church the next morning.
