Potassium Pill

I went to the Pharmacy to grab the Potassium that had been sent in for Mike. I did a little grocery shopping while I was there. I had actually left Mike at home, I had started his fluids, he was on the couch watching some TV. I had told him not to answer the door or phone, I had to stop and check myself, he was a grown man, not a child but I had not left him alone in so long I was taking all precautions. It would take me less than an hour to grab the medicine, pick up a few things and get back home. He was going to be fine. I got the groceries first, then went to grab the pills. I did not look at them, I just grabbed them and left, I needed to get home.

I got home, got the bags in the house. Mike was fine, he was right where I had left him. The fluids were almost finished, I put the groceries away while it finished. It was done by the time the groceries were put away, I got everything undone, thrown away and made sure Mike was good. I went back and grabbed the pills because I was told to give him one as soon as we picked them up. My goodness, this pill was huge! I had never seen a potassium pill, holy cow! I had no idea how in the world he was going to take this, he still could not eat, could not swallow, could not talk and they wanted him to take this? Well, this was going to be fun!
