Fluids

We made it to the radiation appointment as scheduled. I literally had to carry Mike to the car, he was so weak. He was able to get his treatment, at this point I do not think he even realized what was happening, he was just tired, frail, so very weak. The nurses were talking to me about his mask, they felt that it was getting to big because of his weight loss, it could not move is what they were telling me. There was no way in hell that he was going through getting another mask made, he could not handle it and neither could I, I had no intention of allowing that to happen. I told them to figure something out, they understood where I was coming from, he just could not handle it. They said they would tighten it, they would figure something out. They wanted me to speak with Oncology because they felt that Mike needed more fluids, he honestly felt better in the hospital when he was getting the IV fluids. I told them that I would get that done when we got home.

When we got home, I got Mike settled and emailed the Oncology nurse to inform her about the radiation doctor and nurses feeling that he needed fluids. She emailed me back right away and told me that she was going to speak with the doctor and would get back with me. I was just waiting to hear what the plan was at this point.
