Nope
I heard back form the Oncology nurse, they agreed Mike needed the IV fluids. She informed me that I could drive him every other day to get the fluids. The place they wanted me to take him was 45 minutes from our house. Now, I was already driving to radiation everyday, thankfully that only had another week left. I was not about to drive an additional 45 minutes every other day, I mean I would do whatever he needed but we had insurance, hello!! Someone could come to the house and do it, that is exactly what I told her to, she was not expecting me to say that, she told me that if it was a problem she would speak with the doctor again and see if that was an option. In true Tracie fashion, my response was why the hell would that not be an option, we have insurance. I also added that nothing for my husband was a problem and I was willing to do what was needed but it was not necessary for me to drive an extra 45 minutes three times a week when I knew my insurance would cover a nurse to come to the house, she accepted my response and informed me that she would be getting back with me. Now, let me just say I did not know for 100% that my insurance would cover the nurse coming, I was just pissed and she needed to make this happen. In the meantime I was praying it was covered by insurance.
