WTH

There is really no other name for this post other than exactly WTH (What the Hell). So, I already mentioned we were home. It was honestly miserable. Mike was so sick looking, he had to walk around with the squirt bottle, and throw up bag because his mouth and throat hurt so bad and were raw, we never knew when he was going to throw up. It was such a scary time, I did not know what to think, what was happening or what was going to happen. Thank goodness for good friends, but thank the heavens for my sister, my sounding board. I had to have an out, I needed to scream, cry, talk, just everything and I could not do this around Mike because I did not want him to know how stressed out I was. He needed to know I was his caregiver, cheerleader, and I was always positive and spoke nothing but positive things around him.

Harrison was handling everything pretty good. I mean I could tell it was a lot on him, Dad was not Dad. We did not know when or if Mike would ever be himself. We prayed that everything would be fine, but we just did not know. He was going back to radiation the following day, again he could not miss many appointments because he would have to start over and I really did not think (actually I knew) he could not handle that. We would go back to radiation and he would finish his treatment, then he could begin to heal.
