Many Hours Later
Many hours later we were finally able to be released. We were actually heading home, we were both excited and beyond ready. They insisted that Mike be wheeled out in a wheelchair, he wanted to walk but they were not allowing that. I went to get the truck, I pulled up to the front and he was already walking towards to the truck. He was ready to go home. Honestly neither one of us have spent time in the hospital, other than when I gave birth to Harrison via C Section, so in that category we are blessed.
When we pulled out of the hospital parking lot, I told Mike that I would take him home and then go back out and get his medicine. He said no, we would go on the way home, he did not want me back tracking. When we got to the Pharmacy, it did take us about 45 minutes or so, I went in and told Mike to wait in the car. Everything was not ready when I got there, they were working on it so I used the time to grab a few groceries.
I paid for the groceries and went back to the Pharmacy, the medicines were ready. There was a lot of medicine, holy cow like a lot! There was this one particular thing that was in a box that I did not recognize, it looked like an inhaler, I asked what that was and the Pharmacist informed me that should Mike go unconscious I just needed to spray it up his nose and call 911. My face must have said what I was not saying out loud because he was like, we do not expect that to happen, its just a precaution. Nobody at the hospital had mentioned this so I was for sure wondering what in the actual hell they were putting him on.
